Working in the clinical area of the medical field and closely assisting providers with numerous
exams and procedures, clinical medical assistants are a crucial part of the healthcare industry.
From taking vital signs, to administering injections and medications, and performing EKG or
other essential laboratory procedures, the medical assistant is often the first and last person a
patient interacts with making a lasting impact on the patients experience. In our training
program, students learn about core elements of medical assistance, including Foundational
Knowledge and Basic Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Patient Care (taking vital signs,
performing EKG/ phlebotomy), Patient Care Coordination and Education and Administrative
Assisting.
A college degree isn’t required for a career in welding. In fact, some facets of the welding industry prefer you start your career as an apprentice or through on the job training programs.
Demand for qualified welders is at an all time high. This means that many careers in welding come with excellent compensation and benefits packages. In addition, opportunities for advancement are endless.
All healthcare certifications are administered through the National Healthcareer Association
(NHA) and are the certifying agent for the completion of your certification. (EXCEPT:
Orthodontic and Dental Assistant certificates).
