Target Goal of Student Attendees

Day 1
O- Day (Orientation Day ( 8th – 9th Graders)
Students will be provided personalized orientation packets, within this packet students will be assigned a budget/salary, career in the trades and specific task to complete to prepare them for their future such as purchasing a house, renting an apartment, purchasing a car, paying co-payments for insurance, temp-to-hire employment verses direct hire employment and much more.

 

All students will have the opportunity to learn about various trade careers through presentation breakout sessions and can perform hands-on simulations in various trade careers such as Phlebotomy, Welding, CNC, Roofing, Carpentry, Plumbing Certified Nursing Assistant and more.

 

Day 3
U – Day (University Day #2 (11th – 12th Graders)
All students will have the opportunity to learn about various trade careers through presentation breakout sessions and can perform hands-on simulations in various trade careers such as Phlebotomy, Welding, CNC, Roofing, Carpentry, Plumbing Certified Nursing Assistant and more.
